Rising Sun Public School provides hostel facilities keeping with the thought that a residential school is a home away from home so we provide that home comfort to our students. The hostel is made up of separate air-conditioned dormitories under the complete care of Chief Resident Officer. Dormitories are under the personal care and supervision of warden and matron who look into every small need of the child including clothing, health, hygiene, cleanliness and laundry etc. Recreation room, Reading room and the warden’s residence is attached to the dormitories.
HEALTH CARE
The school is attached to Arpana Hospital, Madhuban for medical care and consultation for the residential students. Renowned medical expert Dr. RI Singh & Dr Sangeeta Choudhary is our chief consultant and medical advisor at Arpana Hospital. Regular medical inspection is carried out to arrest any ailment in time and encourage our students to keep good hygiene.
DINING AREA
Keeping in mind the nutritive needs of growing children, hygienically cooked delicious food with a variety in the menu is prepared for the students. All meals are compulsory in the mess and the students are encouraged to follow mess decorum. Members of staff, while eating ensure that the students learn table etiquette.
Tuition Classes:
Hostel students are given an opportunity to receive extra hours of education by evening tuitions. This practise helps them to achieve an extra edge in studies and doubt clearing sessions also takes place time to time.
HEALTH AND FITNESS
The school campus has a very well-equipped gymnasium and sports ground with facilities to host various games. Evening time the students are engaged in various sports and games according to their choice on the field under the able guidance of qualified NIS coaches.
RECREATION
A well stocked reading cum activity room and a recreation room with television and music system is available to the students to use in the evening and on holidays.
National Cadet Corps (NCC)
The school has a Certified NCC training officer who regularly trains our students which give them an opportunity for the overall betterment and developing the character, discipline , leadership, courage, secular outlook and the sprit of adventure.
National Service Scheme (NSS)
We at Rising Sun encourage our students to volunteer and follow the NSS motto ‘Not Me But You’ to help the society in creating awareness on social issues like female education, tree plantation, female foeticide, helping underprivileged, victims of natural calamities and road accidents.
